Sohag– 15 March 2025
In a proactive step toward sustainable development and the expansion of clean energy solutions, ElAdl Party has announced the launch of a new initiative aimed at supporting entrepreneurship in Upper Egypt’s solar energy sector.
Engineer Ahmed Badra, party president assistant for Upper Egypt Development, revealed that the party’s regional offices across Upper Egypt governorates will begin offering training programs in April. These sessions will focus on sustainable development practices and solar energy applications, targeting young entrepreneurs interested in integrating solar power into their industrial and agricultural ventures.
The announcement came during a Ramadan iftar gathering hosted by the party’s Sohag office. Speaking at the event, Badra emphasized that the initiative is designed to empower youth in businesses by equipping them with practical skills and technical knowledge. Training will be led by academics and experts from leading solar energy companies, ensuring that participants receive both theoretical insights and real-world expertise.
Badra also noted that ElAdl Party is preparing to sign a series of protocols with local companies to facilitate incentives and support packages for individuals seeking to invest in solar energy. The initial phase of the program will last three months, covering all of the party’s branches throughout Upper Egypt.
The event witnessed strong attendance from local political and government figures, along with senior officials from ElAdl Party’s leadership, reflecting the party’s growing grassroots presence and its commitment to regional development through liberal and environmentally responsible policies.
