ElAdl Party, under the leadership of MP Abdeleoneim Imam, held its annual Suhoor for 2025. The event was attended by several ministers, senior officials, and a distinguished group of political, public, and cultural figures.
MP Abdeleoneim Imam’s Address
MP Abdeleoneim Imam highlighted the party’s significant progress over the past year, emphasizing the expansion of its organizational structure and geographic presence. He noted the increase in parliamentary representation and the relocation to a larger headquarters to accommodate growing activities. Imam also underscored the party’s commitment to public engagement through numerous events and initiatives aimed at enhancing political awareness and civic participation.
Dr. Hossam Badrawi’s Remarks
Dr. Hossam Badrawi chairman of board of trustees for ElAdl Party expressed gratitude towards the party’s leadership for their dedicated efforts. He praised the party’s growing role in the political arena and encouraged its leaders to field at least 100 candidates in the forthcoming elections. This strategy, he asserted, would offer genuine alternatives to the electorate, aligning with the party’s social liberal ideology and fostering deeper public engagement.
2024 achievement presentation
Senator Ahmed El-Qenawy Secretary General of ElAdl Party presented achievements during 2024, including:
- Expanding the party’s organizational structure from 500 to 750 leaders.
- Increasing geographic presence from 10 to 18 governorates.
- Raising the number of parliamentary representatives from 3 to 5.
- Relocating the party’s headquarters to a larger space to accommodate expanding activities.
- Hosting over 85 central events, 60 governorate-level events, and 120 field activities.
- Launching the “Raqeb” unit to monitor government performance.
- Producing the “Economic Capsules” educational series.
- Initiating the “1,000 Local Leaders” program to enhance political awareness and civic engagement.
Party honored public figures
During the gathering, the party honored prominent political thinker Dr. Mostafa El-Feki for his academic and professional contributions. Also recognized was Dr. Hisham Sherif, former Minister of Local Development and founder of the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC), in appreciation of his role in development and public administration.
The event also celebrated actress Samira Abdelaziz for her distinguished artistic career and Dr. Heba Rashid, founder and chairperson of Mersal Foundation, in acknowledgment of her impactful work in humanitarian service and community support.
